Attorney Profile

Attorney David B. Tarr of Columbia, South Carolina

Criminal Defense Lawyer · Columbia, South Carolina
PHONES ANSWERED 24 HOURS DAILY
803-238-7967

My legal practice is 100% devoted to criminal defense of both misdemeanor and serious felony charges. I have been a private criminal defense lawyer for nine years, after receiving three years of intensive trial training in the public defender's office.

The Law Office of David B. Tarr, LLC, is entirely committed to protecting the legal rights of criminal defendants. Over the course of my legal career, I have developed excellent working relationships with local prosecutors, which allow me to effectively negotiate plea bargains when appropriate, and to mount a vigorous defense before a jury if necessary. However, I have never worked as a prosecutor - my focus has always been on the needs of the criminal defendant. Every criminal defendant deserves a strong advocate to counter the weight given to police testimony and the prosecutor's arguments - and I am honored to have that as my chosen job.
